about

I wanted a way to stash links an some other things that I may want fairly handy access to from my LifeDrive when I'm out and about (and have a wifi signal). Since I have my own domain (a few actually), I figured I would do my own mobile site.

I recently started using Website Baker CMS to do sites with, and the bookmark module seemed like a good way to go for keeping track of links, and well... that's about as far as I've gotten so far.

The overall design is just a simple set of stacked sections, header, menu, content and footer. I tried to make it look decent, adding a bit of color and such. Unfortunately, most sites are not geared towards viewing on mobile devices... tho that is changing with the newer ones out there.

So, for those older devices, I designed the site to put divider lines between sections that only show up if showing on a mobile device in such an optimized mode. If you want to see what it looks like on such a device, just use your print-preview and you'll get the idea.

UPDATE: I am now using a Palm Centro, with a 320x320 screen. This site looks best in the wides screen mode, the optimized mode wants to kill the alignment of the header graphic. As a side note, while geared towards the 320x480 screen on my LifeDrive, the site is even usable my Sprint phone.
